Woodbury homes tend to be newer and bigger, with two-storey great-room windows, walls of patio doors, and transoms above them. Fewer panes than an old St. Paul foursquare, but much more square footage of glass, and a lot of it is above easy reach.
Open lots, hard water, and sprinklers
Without a mature tree canopy the houses sit in full sun, and the irrigation that keeps those lawns green throws hard water onto the lower glass. Those mineral spots bake on and do not come off with a household cleaner.
Walkouts and grade changes
A lot of the housing stock here is walkout or lookout, so the back of the house is effectively a storey taller than the front. That changes how we reach the upper glass, and it is the main thing that moves a Woodbury quote.
